        Dec 2018 - Apr 2019
        • Savile Row, Mayfair, London W1S, UK
        • Full Time
        • In the past five months I have engaged in a variety of roles spanning across the Savile Row brand. My responsibilities predominantly involved hand drawing designs, translating those designs into CAD’s and creating tech packs ready for production. I was also involved in a fair amount of pattern cutting, toiling and altering. During my time here I worked on two projects, the first was redesigning uniforms for British Airways, a project celebrating the companies 100 year anniversary. The second was the New York ready to wear collection. Along side my main responsibilities I worked with the public relations team as well as the production, giving me a fantastic insight into how the business functioned across departments.

        Design Intern

        Cottweiler

        Mar 2017 - Jul 2018
        • London, United Kingdom
        • Internship
        • During my time here I worked with one other intern and the two designers, the small team allowed for a lot of responsibility. I would plan the various tasks week by week in order to complete the SS18 collection on time. Pattern cutting, sewing, designing and working on campaign shoots. Organised and worked on quality control checks of a large quantity of garments before sending to shops and boutiques. “It has been a pleasure having Stewart working with us. He has show excellent all round skills and has played a vital role within our studio team. Always polite and extremely hard working as well as passionate about the brand.”

        2017

        Studio Intern

        Craig Green

        Sep 2016 - Mar 2017
        • London, United Kingdom
        • Internship
        • I worked on the AW17 show, assisted with pattern cutting, sewing, toiling and draping and helped with the styling and dressing of the campaign shoot. Ran various day to day errands including factory visits, fabric sampling and PR organisation. The job came with long hours during the run up to the show where I worked late nights and numerous weekends demonstrating my commitment. I didn’t miss a day of work and gained a great amount of experience. “Stewart was completely comfortable working as part of a team or on individual tasks. When presented with a challenge he was eager to work through and find solutions positively. His contribution leading up to the London Collections Men runway shows was extremely helpful and the professionalism he showed under pressure at the show was equally commendable. Personally Stewart is a positive, kind, hard working and enthusiastic. He was a great help and everyone on the team enjoyed his positive energy”.
