Head of PR and co-founder of Huggle//Freelance journalist I co-founded the dating app Huggle which early 2018 was acquired by badoo, the world's largest dating app. My passion is writing and when I have a spare moment I love nothing more than to write for publications such as the BBC, Marie Claire, Telegraph and Daily Mail.

  • I joined Kindred PR on a six-month contract to help manage four of their accounts. These included Blistex, Nuffield Health, Food Standards Agency and SKODA. During my time at Kindred PR, I worked alongside the Senior Account Manager, to help manage our client relationships and support the junior members on each account. Every week, I would lead creative brainstorms, monitor our media engagement and liaise with our clients to ensure that we were meeting their brief objectives and keeping within the agreed timescale and budget. As well as regularly writing and distributing press releases, I supervised the ‘selling-in’ team to ensure that they were hitting our target media coverage. Although rare, I also managed crisis communications, to maintain our client’s positive reputation. On a monthly basis, the Senior Account Manager and I, would present to our clients a four-week report to evaluate our PR campaigns and media engagement.

  • I worked at the award winning agency, Frank PR, where I supported the Account Director with the daily running of our accounts. I managed the PR activity for thirteen clients, including brands such as Musto, Bathstore, Ultimo, Stylfile, Cath Kidtson, BBC Apprentice and Withings. On a daily basis I would write and sell press releases to the media, monitor the media to seek opportunities for my clients, and conduct Market research for new business proposals. As well as this, I constructed budget, timelines and weekly reports for all of my clients. The work I am proudest of to date is the campaign I created for our client, Withings. I looked after this account on my own and was given a challenging brief to help raise the profile for their latest wearable-tech watch. As it was coming up to London Fashion Week, I created the idea of using mini doppelgangers of iconic British supermodels, to promote the watches. This campaign resulted in huge coverage and was featured in The Evening Standard, The Daily Mail, The Times and The Independent.

  • After graduating from University, I worked in the planning team for the B2B advertising agency, Gyro. During my time at Gyro I conducted qualitative research for our clients to provide them with any relevant information that would be beneficial to their brand. This included questionnaires, focus groups and structured interviews with the client’s target audience. After analysing the data, I would present the results to our clients to give them a greater understanding of their business environment and their target market. As well as conducting market research, I also worked with the creative team, where I focused on producing clearly defined briefs to help the team develop their campaign ideas most effectively.
