Print DesignerTed Baker
• Designing and creating the womenswear clothing print
collections each season - presenting inital research and
developing this through to final artworks.
• Designing graphics and jacquards to sit with each print story.
• Engineering prints and working with pattern pieces to develop
placements to fit specific garments.
• Working closely with the accessories, swimwear, gift and scarf
departments to ensure all artworks are ready for production
and ensure consistency throughout all product areas.
• Working very closely with the buying and production teams to
organise and ensure all deadlines are met and a strong brand
identity is always maintained.
• Liaising with factories worldwide from inital development stages
all the way through to bulk production.
• Managing our design assistant’s workload and mentoring her
design work.
• Researching future trends and creating moodboards and
concepts for each season.
• Trend analysis after each season.
• Creating colourways and repeat layouts.
• Sourcing new fabrics and design techniques.
• Admin - creating factory packs, organising deliveries, creating and
updating running lists and processing purchase orders.
