About me
I graduated from Camberwell College of Arts in 2018 with a BA in Graphic Design and started my creative outlet: Studio Haiya. I combine humorous illustrations with a dialogue that speaks on the subject of mental health wellness. I delve in both the graphic design as well as the illustration world, and I have found them to go well hand in hand.
Projects
- Joon FestivalJoon Festival is a nepalese musical event which was initiated in 2017. It has taken place in venues like the Wembley stadium and Dummer Down Farm and attracts over 1000 people every year. In 2020, it was decided that the event would be streamed on Youtube and nepali artists from all over the world would send in a short performance. Unlike the previous concerts, this was an event to raise money for international students that were on the brink of homelessness as well as nepalese people that were
- Degree show workThis self initiated project delves into the idea of being fully mindful and present to the point where I embarked on a walk alone from point A to B and used a pencil to note down when I came upon any directional changes. Along the way, I would also note down anything I noticed at the point in time. By the end, I had notes and notes of directions and observation and I got myself a typewriter to then relive that journey in the manner that would allow me to be the most present - typewriting! This
