  • Chair and moderator of "Life as a Muslim Apostate" Dialogue. It was an encounter between one recognized Muslim scholar based in Dublin Dr Umar Al-Quadri, with a former Muslim and a resident to Belfast Muffasil Islam (all details are on record) who reportedly received death threats for leaving Islam which led him to open a YouTube channel with broad audience, however he was in turn accused of uttering hate speech. I was asked to moderate the meeting, to finalize the agreement on the proceedings between the parties, chair and overlook the whole encounter as well as deliver closing statements.

  • Khumariyaan is native Pashtun band from Pakistan, who thanks to the US Embassy Dublin funding, Khumariyaan were able to visit Dublin and subsequently be hosted by the collaborative effort of the IMPIC and Irish School of Ecumenics of which I was the representative and host of the evening at the Edmund Burke Theatre in Trinity College Dublin. Venue capacity is 405 seats with estimated turnout of 380 visitors on the night of the event, May 22nd, 2017. Upon special invitation, we hosted Pakistani Ambassador to Dublin Dr Syed Rizwan Ahmed; Afghani Representative Mr Nasruddin Saljuqi and Deputy Director of Public Affairs US Embassy to Dublin Ms Jen McAndrew. The project objective was to host the band for an evening show at TCD Edmund Burke Theatre. My personal responsibility was to establish contact with the band and ensure their AV equipment requirements on the night will be met; organising the permission to use the Auditorium; organising and monitoring the social media campaign to promote the event in the city. On the opening night, I have delivered the opening speech and subsequently was the last person to leave the venue to ensure its condition was suitable to resume lectures uninterrupted the following day. • exhibition in 2013. My duties included research on contemporary artists the Gallery was ought to showcase for the "Modern Families" exhibition. Subsequently, I was part of the team to take down the previous exhibits. I was entrusted to provide their detailed digital and written description, depicting condition in which they were in while we packed them for shipping, in order not to breach insurance policies. Changeover includes cleaning up the space of the gallery after the previous exhibits, planning of the space under the new project, in this case, we also had to erect a large tower-like structure approx 6m high. I'm comfortable using the carpenter tools, therefore I took full participation in placing the pieces in the gallery. Then on the opening night, I was also acting as a host of the evening.
