UK Working Visa Status: Ancestral Working Visa I am Australian, but currently I am based in Istanbul as Creative Director for a new Turkish publication, an arts, culture and fashion magazine and platform called Based Istanbul. Otherwise, here is my story. Post-student life, it was inevitable that I would move to Paris to study photography, after watching so many French films. So I moved to Paris, and learned French, altogether for a period of six years. Whilst working at Louis Vuitton, Paris, as an assistant photographer - full time during the week - on the weekends I would work at the local Arab Marche d'Aligre (Paris fruit & vegetable street market), for many years. This was a great experience for so many obvious reasons, but mainly it was these guys who gave me my professional network, which many would not even suspect. Most people would not mention this, but I respect these guys so much, and I don's see why I shouldn't mention it. After six years in Paris, I moved to Istanbul for its dynamic and vibrant attitude, which was necessary if I were to to expand my experience outside of photography. Since then, I have taken on various roles in fashion, art and production in Istanbul, an environment that is very intense and hard to work in compared to other countries. Given this factor, I will name drop the various talents that I've been lucky to work with; Alex Prager, Ariel de Ravenel, Armand Limnander, Carnet de Voyage, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Craig McDean, Dan Thawley, Daniel Arsham, Delfina Delettrez Fendi, Demet Muftuoglu Eseli, Edward Enninful, Francesco Carrozzini, Gianluca Longo, Harvey Keitel, JR, Juliette Lewis, Kate Moss, Livia Firth, Mario Testino, Mike Figgis, Natasha Fraser-Cavassoni, Piera Gelardi, Robert Montgomery, Sven Schuman, Trevor Paglen, Waris Ahluwalia. I am not afraid of constantly learning within any role and I'm not afraid to go outside of my comfort zone.
