About me
I value the importance of detail and maintain a good work ethic when approaching any deadline. All design should aim to help people, whether that is signage or ease of attaining information. Having vast involvement in merchandising at the Next flagship store in Westfield, I have developed an eye for detail when putting together a space. I feel I understand the importance in clear information.
My main interests are in editorial design and branding but have covered many areas of graphic communication such as illustration. I am ideas driven, I enjoy discovering new things for inspiration, by keeping in touch with whats going on constantly.
Projects
- Dissertation MagI designed a dissertation I wrote, in the form of a magazine. The dissertation questions if our investment in technology is detrimental to our wellbeing. It is a visual representation, reflecting the mind-set of an addicted user of the Internet. It is image heavy, visually stimulating and distracting, mirroring the distractions online.
- Worth Pop-up shopThis brief required Central Saint Martins, design and interaction students to design and make 11 multiples of an artefact. This was then sold at a pop up lasting 3 days, to raise money for our final year degree show. There was a lot of press and interest surrounding the event. All items started at 1 million pounds, and decreased in price when people shared/ promoted the event on social media. Becoming more affordable, and challenging peoples perceptions of what 'worth' means. And if the value of the object should depend on the process it has gone through or just based on its aesthetics.
