A front-of-house role, working directly alongside the events, exhibitions and operations teams, helping with the day-to-day running of a busy city centre attraction and events space. As one of the few extant, publicly accessible Mackintosh buildings in the Glasgow city centre, much of my work revolved around educating the public on the life and influence of CRM on the Scottish city- and artscape. This also extended to the promotion of contemporary Scottish design and architecture. Experience in reception and administrative duties, gallery invigilation, liaising with the public, as well as artists, clients and contractors. I also gained practical experience in building maintenance, and exhibitions and events install and de-install.
