I am part of the Production team, managing the creative process from concept level to onsite management, ensuring we deliver the highest quality experiences. MKTG has given me the opportunity to work with a myriad of suppliers and clients while producing amazing experiential events. - 6 Month Contract. - Responsible for one tradeshow; Employee Benefits Show Live (5000 sqm and 2500 visitors) and one consumer show; Homebuilding & Renovating Show – Harrogate (6799 sqm and 11000 visitors) - Supervision of one Event Assistant
Responsible for: - Venue contract and liaison - Supplier (AV, Shell scheme, electrics, furniture, catering etc) negotiation and management - Management of two freelance event executives - Sourcing marketing materials including lanyards, seat covers, bags etc - Arrangement and management of the event guide - Arrangement and management of the networking reception - Management of all stakeholders including speakers, sponsors, exhibitors and visitors - Onsite management including temp staff, registration and theatre areas
- Responsible for a portfolio of 8 International and domestic finance and aviation conferences (150 - 500 pax), a large-scale B2B exhibition (4000 visitors and 300 exhibitors) as well as award ceremonies and networking events. - Developed financial management skills by assisting in setting and managing the £20,000 - £450,000 event budgets during the event lifecycle. - Management of event team; responsible for setting and overseeing all activities - Demonstrated research skills by venue sourcing and contract negotiation for 5* hotels and suppliers - Increased visitor, speaker and sponsor pre-show communication satisfaction to 70% (from 40%) within a year. - Responsible for creating and managing the registration system for each event using Eventsforce - Event Marketing responsibilities; created all event guides, comprehensive welcome packs and event websites - International business travel; EMEA and USA
The Rising Star awards were introduced to showcase the UK pipeline of female talent below management and to create female 100 role models across different industries and professions.
