Managing social media profiles Planning and executing new influencer outreach campaign
As part of an early stage, lean start-up I managed the planning, creation, distribution and analysis of all online content for the ereading app, Blloon. Using insights gained from CRM, market research, user feedback and analytics I collaborated with the tech team in cultivating a simple yet exciting user experience across all of our outlets on both web and mobile (app/email/social). Leading community management and customer support using Intercom, email and social media I transformed a new, uncharted ereading subscription app into a top books app on iTunes with a loyal, literature-loving community. • Managed a budget of £40,000 to set-up paid social campaigns, Adwords, influencer marketing and PR • Published 30-40 pieces of paid and organic content per week across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google+, LinkedIn and Pinterest to drive sign-ups and app installations • Maintained a reach of over 150k for Facebook adverts • Set-up and managed an email newsletter and targeted transactional email campaigns (Intercom, Postage) – maintaining open rates of +30% • Launched a digital book club, personalised book recommendation service, various competitions and weekly newsletter to improve customer engagement and retention • Managed projects with external PR, advertising and video content agencies • Wrote and A/B tested copy for the Blloon landing page, blog, in-app messaging, newsletter and FAQ • Built a blogger outreach program of 50 high profile contributors • Ideated topical, relevant content opportunities to promote Blloon’s catalogue of 750k books
