We essentially set up her office from scratch, including complex travel bookings, both nationally and internationally, processing expenses, managing inboxes, creating filing systems for both paperwork and DVDs. ?Liaising extensively with agents, production companies and senior stakeholders within the BBC. ?Office management – I have created new distribution lists and databases in order to disseminate information more effectively. Edited and complied presentations, looked after diaries for meetings rooms, coordinated entries for comedy shows to all awards, e.g. BAFTAs, RTS, Comedy Awards.

I have also both edited and created presentations for both of my managers.
?Diary management: I constantly juggled multiple priorities for different managers, including complex travel bookings, both nationally and internationally, processing expenses and managing inboxes, particularly when any of my managers were away on leave or out of the office. ?Office Management: In this role I have created databases, distribution lists and raised complex purchase orders for project staff. I have created presentations, conducted archive research, sourced and reformatted films. ?Internal Events: I have managed attendees, communications, the technical arrangements and hospitality for large internal meetings and at external locations – for example the team Christmas Dinner. ?Production work: I worked as DJ liaison at Radio 1’s Hackney Weekend concert.
?In addition to complex diary and travel management, and acting as first point of contact for BBC Talent enquiries this role included: ?Event Management: I managed three Away Days attended by 65 staff including all travel arrangements, technical and hospitality arrangements. ?High degree of discretion when dealing with sensitive information: this role involved administrating the highly sensitive pay details of internal and external Talent. In addition I liaised with senior executives within the BBC and other television companies on a daily basis.
?To improve my knowledge of the wider industry outside of the BBC, I worked with a TV publicist. ?This role included: ?Managing high profile guest lists for TV and Film screenings. ?Liaising and coordinating with production companies, talent and journalists on a regular basis. ?Diary management and office administration to ensure smooth running of a very busy office.
? This role required knowledge and understanding of the business and required initiative in problem solving to avoid impacting on this very busy diary. Working with another PA, I had responsibility for expenses, complex diary and travel arrangements and screening all calls and emails. I was also involved in internal event management. I co-managed two office runners throughout this time.
