About me
Artist and Writer living and working in London and Berlin. I am currently seeking employment in the Fine / Contemporary Art sector, either with a gallery or in publishing - areas in which I already have previous experience with the likes of the Chisenhale Gallery, Royal Academy and 1Granary Magazine. Having developed a practice that is situated at the point of convergence of academic research, writing and making as a professional artist, I am able to contribute a broad set of skills, both technical and critical, in a variety of fields, and personally speaking I'm a very independent, engaged and driven individual who enjoys being challenged. I am a native English speaker. I also speak French to an advanced level, and have elementary skills in German. As a working artist I'm interested in developing an experimental practice in digital media, writing and performance which serves, as told through blurred [science-] fictions and truths, to critique the fantasy of cybernetic embodiment and the habitation of digital space as immediate sites for the reinvention of the (post)human self; these are spaces which perpetuate patriarchal norms, responsible for the generation of reductive representations and violent erasures of marginalised subjects - of whom the female is a particular focus for me. In engaging and experimenting with [and hacking] new technologies, I seek to interrogate their uses and limitations, and subvert them to explore how one might have agency as a digital body. Group Exhibitions: 'Degree Show One', Central Saint Martins; May 24 - 28 'CSM BAFA Open Studio', Central Saint Martins; March 17 2017 'Commixture', 5th Base, London; February 23 - 24 2017 [Self-organised show] 'This is an Art School', Central Saint Martins and Tate Exchange, Tate Modern; January 9 - 15 2017 '2D/4D Open Studio', Central Saint Martins; November 18 2016 'Works On Paper', University of the Arts London High Holborn; October 26 - November 4 2016 [Self-organised show] 'Rundgang: Tage der offenen Tür', Universität der Künste Berlin; July 22 - 24 2016 'Sacred Blue', The Rag Factory, London; March 1 2016 [Self-organised show]

'Elsewhere: The Space and Tactics of Female Virtuality' - Essay / BookElsewhere: The Space and Tactics of Female Virtuality This essay was presented for mu BA dissertation at Central Saint Martins, which I then designed and printed into books. Drawing on the writings of Gilles Deleuze, and the Posthuman and Post-Structrualist schools of thought, and looking at the work of contemporary artists Tai Shani, Cécile B. Evans, Renée Green and Hito Steyerl, it constitutes an exploration of a possible space of resistance and transformation (discursive, phsyical and digital

'Greetings from the Border!' - Tate Exchange'Greetings from the Border!' - 14 January 2017 I was invited to give a special presentation of the artwork Greetings from the Border!, an extensive research project turned audio-visual essay which has taken various forms and iterations over the course of its conception. In this case, it was presented as a live performance lecture in front of a large audience at Tate Modern. Taking on the role of a virtual space-time traveller, I explore the representation of marginalised spaces through various i
