About me

I'm an ambitious and creative individual who has a flair for writing, editing and creating new content. I love to have a hands-on approach and get involved in new environments, and also thrive under a challenge. I am currently studying History at the University of Leeds, after achieving AAB in my A levels. I possess great Word and Excel skills, and, as my degree demands of me, have great time-management and the ability to work well under pressure. I have a vast understanding of the importance of keeping up-to-date with developing institutions, especially as I’ve been elected next year’s History Society Social Media secretary, communicating through various channels to 600 students. I have a passion for reading and writing, and would love to develop my skills in order to explore this field once graduating. I have a fierce eye for detail and love engaging in research on a plethora of topics, which I have experienced through a variation of medieval and modern modules. Overall, I believe that my core strengths lie in my confident abilities with communication and presentation, which is aided by my talkative and creative personality.

  • The Tutor Trust is a charity that I work for during my time at University. I have to plan weekly sessions for groups of three children that will be used to solidify and expand the skills that they have learnt in their regular classes. In order to make sessions fun, this requires a degree of creativity and adaptation to benefit each student.
