- Hand (7/10/2021). Masking tape sculpture.A masking tape sculpture modeled on my left hand. I learned the techniques I used to create this sculpture in my middle school 3D studio art class. For a class project, we - in our small groups - were tasked to create a full-body sculpture using clear tape. - Adam and Eve: Pillar candle sculpturesTurns out candles are a cool medium to use for sculpting! I created these sculptures out of small pillar candles that were laying around in my house. These were my second go-round at candle sculpting. I was surprised when I found little on the internet on candle sculpting; I think candles should get more love as a sculpting medium. The candle wax on these candles made it tricky to sculpt; One chip away at the candle would sometimes remove more than intended, but, because it is candle wax, I c
