- Seed16Planting a seed and letting it grow was the theme for this year’s graphic communication degree show at BCU. The concept behind the visual identity was inspired by the peg boards used to exhibit the student’s work. Keeping the same theme from the exhibition, circles were used through out the design from the degree show catalogue to the posters.
- Digifest BytesDigifest 2016 was a celebration of the power of digital. Visitors were able to debate and consider the critical issues affecting digital – the what, the why, the how and to hear more about what’s on the horizon, and be inspired by the innovation that digital is making possible. The task for this project was to create the visual identity for the dinner after the expo. Dinner at Digifest Bytes is a sociable occasion. The speakers, delegates and exhibitors were invited to join for a ‘byte’ to eat and a welcome drink, surrounded by cool gadgets.
- this is firstThis Is First is a newspaper designed to celebrate the talent of Birmingham City University’s Visual Communication course. The newspaper was printed as a traditional tabloid. The concept behind it was to showcase the visual communication students work, interview established designers in the city, having a look inside their studios and list events happening between June and October 2016.
