About me
I’m a graduate of Hyper Island, where I gained my Masters in Digital Media Management. My time there helped me gain a wealth of knowledge around working within teams to create innovative and useful solutions to all sorts of problems.
Previously I have worked at LOVE as a Mid-Level Creative and I’m currently at The Neighbourhood as a Senior Creative. I’ve been lucky enough to work on brands such as Johnnie Walker, HawkinsBrown, Levi’s, Fortnum & Mason, The Singleton and Classic Malts Collection.
Whilst my main focus is design, I’ve had the opportunity to adopt a design thinking approach to my work, incorporating elements of strategy and planning into my process. This leaves me open to finding the best solution for the problem at hand, drawing on a variety of influences and roles to create work which I’m truly proud of.
Projects
- Johnnie Walker GingerFor Johnnie Walker in Sweden, we were tasked with creating a short pre-loader which demonstrates the beautiful combination of Johnnie Walker Red Label and Ginger Ale. The idea was to shoot the two liquids colliding in super slow motion in a macro style. The result is a mesmerising, undulating tidal wave of liquid.
- Push DoctorAssist the product team in developing a visual language for Push Doctor. Utilise user research techniques and UX best practices to improve the overall experience for patients and doctors using the platform. By the end of my 6 month position we set the following goals: Launch a design system across iOS, Android and Web applications, launch a brand new pushdoctor.com and reduce patient/doctor disruptions by 50%.
- Co-op HealthcareEach year the NHS spends £8 billion on repeat prescriptions, it’s second biggest cost after staff costs. But, £100 million of this is lost on unwanted or misordered medicine. Our challenge was to reduce the amount of pressure currently on the NHS, whilst also giving users more control over their own health by building and testing an online repeat prescription service for UK customers in 16 weeks.
- Whisky NightsThe Diageo portfolio of whiskies has grown substantially over the past few years. With big brands such as Johnnie Walker, Talisker and Cardhu all living under the same roof, consumers (especially those new to the world of whisky) can easily become confused as to which whisky is right for them. With this in mind we created an iPad guide which gives an insight into the world of each brand/variant along with serve suggestions and food pairings.
- Hawkins\BrownHawkinsBrown are one the UK’s leading design focused architecture studios. With a hugely impressive portfolio of work, they needed a website refresh which helped to showcase the work in a clean, unfussy yet characterful way. We stripped the site down to it’s bare bones and rebuilt something which better reflects the personality of HB.
