Since 2013 I have been creating bespoke music and audio solutions for brands including Adidas, Lacoste, Canterbury and Mixmag. My primary role at Fatsoma was to spearhead the ticketing platform’s growth in London and beyond: Pitching, negotiating and securing new business contracts with high value clients. Market analysis for the event and ticketing sectors, including competition analysis and forecasts. Wide range of successful pitches including - Bugged Out, Soundwave Festival & Jonas Rathsman. Account management and client services, including training on the platform. Devising and implementing company wide sales strategies and techniques.
During my time at Your Army I ran PR campaigns for many prominent music artists and both major and independent labels including Sony BMG, Island Records, Greco Roman and Universal Music. My responsibilities covered: Planning and executing PR strategies for both new and established artists. Successful campaigns included Kiesza’s Number 1 single ‘Hideaway’, Hot Natured’s ‘Benediction’ and Joe Goddard’s ‘Endless Love’ Weekly reporting to clients, summarizing the strengths and failures of campaigns. Client management, alongside pitching for new business. Writing press releases and pitching creative PR ideas to both artists and media outlets. Establishing contacts throughout the UK press and beyond. Creating, composing and delivering mailshots through mass mail delivery systems such as Mailchimp.
During my time at Scandalism, I assisted in the promotion and PR for shows at a number of UK venues, alongside events for large brands such as Bacardi and Ray-Ban. My responsibilities included: Deck composition and assistance with pitch delivery to brands and agencies. Delivery on successful large-scale events such as festival stages, specifically the Bacardi “Get Together” series that took place at Big Chill, Rockness and Lovebox festivals. Liaising between brands and artists, ensuring the brand was represented in the correct light and both parties gained maximum exposure.
After joining The Columbo Group I progressed from a promotions assistant at one site, to a Promotions Manager for multiple venues. My responsibilities covered: Building relationships with external media partner’s brands and labels, creating bespoke events and maximising event exposure for all parties. Partners included Redbull, Domino Records, Factmag, Mixmag and iD Magazine. Heading up press and promotional strategies for events, ranging from club nights to lifestyle events. Leading these strategies managing budget allocation, ticketing, artwork, street campaigns, advertising and online awareness. Managing a full time events diary, from small upcoming bands and DJ’s through to headline acts. Writing press releases, engaging copy, and website text across all venues. Expanding a venues brand identity, and with new sites like The Nest in Dalston, creating a specific identity from the outset. Full control of social media for The Nest and The Old Queen’s Head, utilizing targeted advertising campaigns and creating a strong online profile. Digital content creation for social media channels.
