Over the past year I have worked with multiple sales teams across the global CCI organisation to help drive and implement the CCI Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE) program. The SFE project was a key initiative for CCI to help them transform their business into a world-class media sales organisation. By guiding our local business units to identify issues, form hypotheses, design and conduct analyses, our team could help them synthesise conclusions into recommendations and help implement change. We did this through constant support in providing a ‘Best-Practice’ sales and marketing perspective to the teams, helping to define overall sales success. To support this and bring our local businesses closer together, we formed our own competitions and initiatives to run alongside our day-to-day support, to help optimise sales effectiveness, and create a global community and sharing network. Two of the biggest challenges we faced were to translate initiatives across cultures and educate our global leaders to see the effectiveness in adopting new strategies. As you can imagine effective relationship building here was essential! My CV proves I am extremely interested in understanding what makes a business tick, and a customer click! I have worked in several industries to date, which has served to enhance my commercial instinct and wider business knowledge within the Sales / Strategy arena. After graduating from Nottingham University with a 2:1 in Business Management I progressed straight into working as a Junior Equity Derivatives Broker at BGC Partners. The complex systems I used in fast-paced situations disciplined me to make quick decisions in an office where inaccuracy was not tolerated. It further helped me develop my communication and team-working skills in a loud and demanding workspace where complex information must be clearly expressed. Post Trade-Floor, I worked at Groupon in its early growth stage where I managed a sales team to help construct a strategically high performing revenue portfolio against demanding targets. It was vital that I built a lasting relationship with my team who were based in Ireland, therefore the idea of building relationships with clients and helping them achieve their objectives, excites me about joining a business that keeps clients at its core. After winning employee of the month and several company team based incentives, I really benefited professionally from my time there. Since Groupon I have completed a Masters Degree in Real Estate from Cass Business School, and worked as UK Wholesale Manager for a retailer to further advance my sales capabilities. I try to make the most of all opportunities that arise and my self-motivation and networking skills have led me to many exciting experiences. My entrepreneurial flair led me to start my own consultancy business at University. I also represented Nestlé as their Campus Brand Ambassador, a role I achieved from simply meeting their HR Director at an event! As you can see, having recently turned 27 years old, I have achieved a great deal in a number of different industries!
