A versatile multimedia journalism student, with a special interest in fashion and travel writing. I am passionate about creating engaging and compelling content and strive to give each story a unique voice. I am in my second year pursuing a degree in journalism at the University of Westminster, where I have developed skills in audio and video as well as a broad understanding of print and digital platforms.

Last year I secured the responsibility as Fashion editor of our student magazine. The University of Westminster is highly credited in the Fashion industry and since obtaining this role I have broadened my knowledge on the fashion industry. I have also learnt how to work well as part of a creative team.
Since previous years I have given the fashion section of the magazine a new lease of life for our student readership. For example, by focussing on the element of ‘affordability’, I used my initiative to find the cheapest and best ways for students to dress. My most recent feature, ‘How to Depop’, focussed on how students save money on clothes and make money by selling their old ones

My degree has equipped me with both digital and written skills necessary to prepare me for this job. Since producing a 52-page lifestyle magazine- ‘AWARE’, in the first semester of my second year of university, I have perfected my skills in Adobe Photoshop and InDesign. This included organising exclusive interviews, casting and styling shoots and writing two short pieces and a main feature. As editor in chief, I worked well with my team to create a clean, spacious and engaging magazine.
