I am currently in third year studying Fashion Communication at Liverpool John Moores University. I am creative, conscientious and hardworking, and my ambition is to make a lasting impression within the fashion industry. Throughout summer 2019 I was working two days a week on a 3 month internship. However, Hairshark have kept me on 1 day a week whilst at University. Hairshark have been relanching their marketing and advertising. I am content creating which includes; photography and videography, instagram stories and influencer outreach. This is helping me understand how to market a business.
Since leaving school I have been part time at McDonalds whilst at college and university. During my time here, I have been awarded Employee of the month, and later Employee of the Quarter, for exceptional service.
I worked at Graduate Fashion Week 2019 as Newsletter Manager. This involved creating two daily newsletters to be sent out to industry, Universities and the general public. I was producing gifs and choosing the best imagery throughout day.
I was offered an internship at David Nieper after being a finalist in a design competition whilst studying Fashion and Clothing at college. During my time there I learnt lots of new skills and insights about the fashion factory. I spent time in the technical design, customer service and fabric production areas, learning about some of the key areas of the business in detail.
Originally as a Chrismtas Temp but was asked to extend this by management. Working in retail has given me a great understanding when it comes to the fashion industry.
