- CorkidsCorkids comes from the desire to create something that valued the Portuguese material extracted from the cork oak, innovating the concept of kids toys, by a group of young designers from Lisbon. The primary goal was to reinvent the image and work with the brick letters idea from the first identity and develop it to a more kids-friendly status.Instead of using only a monochromatic colour scheme we’ve implemented five new colours. With that in mind, the blend blocks design gave place to five versa
- Parque cafe Menu 17'The restaurant Parque Cafe in Lisbon. Requested a menu design for the ongoing year and the new price table. My primary focus was to stay loyal to the previous layout and develop it to make it contemporary and more in line with the style of the restaurant. The use of darker colours was meant to maintain the elegance of the menu and keep it legible since it has a lot of information included in it. I’ve developed as well some iconography to illustrate different product options as well as their availability.
- Personal IdentityMy personal identity creation focused mainly on the simplicity and the elements that constitute my name – Tiago Sotenho. The way I’ve done this was by breaking apart my signature into a simple shape featuring a full-colour and a outlined circle. The use of bright and delicate colours define the new stage of my creativity and the fact that I’m trying to find new challenging adventures. All the brand that as my name on it was designed around this concept, so everything is connected and defined.
- Carnivorous love CactusCarnivorous Love Cactus was a commissioned project for a wallpaper; the client was passionate about cactus and carnivorous plants so I set out to create an illustration that would combine both. The combination of both plants its a metaphor for his life and society and how every person develops their defence mechanism just like the plants.
- Parque Cafe loyalty cardsParque Cafe is a restaurant in Lisbon situated downtown Alverca. Parque Cafe asked me to design loyalty cards options to increase clients repeat purchase and drive more sales. With this in mind, I’ve created three loyalty card options: one for coffee and hot beverages, one for salads and sandwiches and one for hamburgers and toasties. Each of the cards had elusive photographs to the promotion and respected the brand guidelines to make sure brand consistency was achieved.
- MoodswingA private collector requested the illustration set as a decoration piece. The brief was to create a piece with a minimalistic definition of mood swings to represent all customer, their personalities and show them appreciation. This set was done to go on a barbers shop wall, and since this sort of business is a man’s only space I wanted to identify beard’s as a solid characteristic that can change a person’s mood when done properly.
