Being a producer for a short film’ Anomaa’, which follows a young African woman trapped in a forest realm by the Sky God. One day she meets another mysterious deity and the shadow of a lost young girl. She sees this as an opportunity to bargain the Sky God for her freedom, requesting to return to "Her Mother's village" if she finds the lost girl a way home.
Through this journey the overarching message is an Akan parable "If a Bird does not fly, it goes to bed hungry", essentially meaning that one must take a risk in order to reap the rewards.
The film is a fairytale/folktale exploring Afro-Caribbean and British fairytale narrative conventions exploring ideas of Ghanian and Lesser Antilles origin.
