Providing technical, organisational and administrative support for productions, festivals, concerts, conferences and other external events. Set design and prop building, costume design and creation. Building and maintaining relationships with other local schools and educational groups for more diverse enrichment activities and inter-school collaboration. Managing the timetable and financing of external speech and drama lessons for students. Managing the booking of the school’s performance spaces by external companies, including timetabling, get-in and get-out, Health & Safety procedures and invoicing. Creating video promotional materials for the drama and music departments. Managing the inventory of the school’s Performing Arts Department and the Whole School Productions and Events budget and box-office. Training students in various aspects of Technical Theatre. Recording, editing, archiving and transcoding audio and video promotional material for the whole school and preparing it for use on the Web. Providing technical support and guidance at a whole school level.
Recording and mixing live studio sessions. (Live bands, electronic artists and voiceovers) Extensive use of Pro tools, Logic, Cubase, Sibelius, Reason, Reaper and Acid. Bookings, payments, orders and other general admin tasks. Maintenance and repair of all studio assets. Session drumming, guitar, piano and bass playing.
