At UNIT 30 my role is twofold where I act as Junior Booker and Production Assistant under founder Murray Arthur. As a Junior Booker my tasks include researching and reaching out to commercial and editorial clients consistently updating them with UNIT 30’s roster of artists new work whether that be through face to face portfolio meetings or through digital promotion channels. As a Production Assistant I assist on project managing all productions from conception to completion to a variety of clients whether that be in the field of fashion or music and/or advertising or editorial. Such duties involved consist of pre-production duties such as casting, requiring permits, scouting, budgeting to general duties on set during shoot days and delivering images and invoicing in post. Additionally UNIT 30 provide production assistance during London Fashion Week.
• Providing photographic services for a variety of clients, covering events, weddings and shows. • Liaising with clients to outline their requirements, discuss briefs and negotiate rates. • Determine each project’s specific requirements and arranging all necessary equipment. • Coordinate with additional photographers/ videographers to ensure successful covering of each shoot. • Adjust, edit and modify photos using editing software and delivering final product through print or web.
• Recruiting, training and performance managing a small team of three staff members. • Maximising sales and profit by providing excellent customer service and creating effective merchandising through promotional materials and displays. • Constantly driving within the team to increase customer loyalty, retention, satisfaction and spend by driving strong ‘client-telling’ and providing regular in-depth brand training to deal with customer queries. • Responsible for all administrative and clerical duties: payroll, banking, schedules and stock.
Pattern and drafting development course providing basic skills and techniques required to carry out pattern drafting and development for a range of waist suspended garments.
Broad curriculum focusing on core concepts and principles of fashion marketing providing specialist knowledge on contemporary international issues in relation to fashion marketing, logistics, buying and merchandising, fashion business analysis, integrated fashion communications, consumer insights, marketing planning and brand management.
