I trial myself in the cultivation of various crafts such as Film/Digital Photography, Illustration and Screen Printing to excel in my role as an Art Director. Travelling and working abroad has strengthened my communication skills which I now use to be perceptive when working in teams. While travelling I seek to take advantage of collecting found materials, visiting exhibitions and interacting with people of interest. I apply these experiences into platforms such as sketchbooks to create a wide range of organic motifs, some of which are used to tackle briefs for clients in the real world. This vigorous process is effective to me as a creative because it allows me to exceed beyond the creative boundaries. I plan on using this method to unfold fresh responses for substantial briefs and clients. I also expect turn some ideas into personal live projects as I sense it would give me grave insights in regards to being or dealing with a client. In my spare time I train row stroke seat for Marlow Rowing club on the river thames and also take part in their national races.
I was in a partnership mainly practising the role of an Art Director. We worked on Clients such as EE, Gatwick Airport and Visa. For EE We had to generate ideas campaign ideas mainly digital to promote their broadband and 4G on the approach to the summer world cup. Executions included online applications, print and indents. While working on the Gatwick account, we had to come with ideas for their summer campaign as the brand was looking upgrade the shopping experience. Executions mainly included Print and indents with copy.
I had the opportunity to create 50 irreverent, single page websites to amuse their online fans. The branded and non-branded sites are an addictive way to spend the extra minutes saved by ordering through the Nando’s website or app.The ‘More time to…’ campaign promoted the websites with online ads and via Nando’s social media networks. Each website allows you to go straight through to order, share or ask for more.
Mattessons wanted to create the MMM3000, a hands-free snacking & gaming device, to promote Fridge Raiders chicken snacks. The Syndicate Project enlisted his legion of fans to design and build the ultimate hands-free snacking & gaming device, by submitting their ideas and designs to the Fridge Raiders’ Facebook campaign tab. I was part of the graphic team that turned best ideas sent in by fans into blue prints which where then considered for prototypes. The blue prints where then sent back to the online community primarily on the social networking site Facebook. Fans could see their ideas turned into blueprints and others could also review.
