I have very recently completed working for The Commonwealth Games as part of Team England's Media and Comms team. During the course of the games, I was expected to maintain a consistent and clear message: Celebrating success.
I regularly updated Instagram posts celebrating the successes of medalists, athletes, and para-athletes alike. This was kept consistent as I uploaded content daily to Offical Team England's social channels, this included Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook. Once we began receiving medals I was required to create graphics which were used on Team England's social channels.At certain points during the games, TeamEngland received over 10,000 views on certain stories due to how I was able to create a clear and consistent message. I found this role very exciting and refreshing. I was also asked to update the Offical Team England's website duties included updating the schedule, creating hashtags and ensuring a clear message was being told.
