I am a freelance Digital Photographer based in London. I developed most of my expertise from the world-class institution, Ravensbourne where by my passion for photography grew. A talented and energetic Photographer, I am interested in the digital world and the many ways in which I can use a camera to tell compelling stories which engage and inspire audiences. With a technical background in Digital SLR and Phase One cameras, I am constantly searching for a new chronicle to share. I have travelling extensively from a young age, particularly throughout Europe and the Caribbean, passionately recording with a sketchbook and a camera. I often combine my background of art and design with my meticulous eye for detail to produce beautiful, high quality imagery. Although I specialise in portrait photography, undergoing many projects with production company Media Koncept, I have considerable experience in other divisions of photography.
This course has provided me with the knowledge and skills appropriate to a range of careers in digital photography. Over the three years the course has: - Encouraged me to develop my individual creative ability and support this with the development of a high level of technical skills. - Allow me to deal with fundamental photographic principles and skills including studio lighting and the basic principles of digital imaging. - Helped me focus on interpretative experimentation and collaboration, as well as developing awareness, knowledge and understanding of the multiple roles of photography and improving skills with digital image management. - Allowed me to focus on my own aims and ambitions, which reflect my personal and professional career planning, knowledge and skills required to work as a practitioner with communication skills as well as an understanding of the context and market for photographer’s work.
