However, the fear of appearing weak or inferior in a generation that strives for perfection prohibits them from asking for help or feeling accepted within society. The S word being ‘sad’ devalues the magnitude of the disorder to one emotion that doesn't quantify or summarise the true depths of depression nor anxiety.
