Within the office I was responsible for photographing and editing the prints that were to be added to the website, creative posts for the company website including personal research and descriptive writing about prints and artists and sorting and packaging the printing in preparation for sale. Within the print studios I was responsible for sorting, repairing and maintaining the screens and helping out with paid workshops where my responsibility was to show first timers how to coat, expose, and print using the facilities at the Print Club. During my time at the Print Club I was involved in two of their public events, the Summer Screen Prints Film Poster Exhibition, held at Somerset House in collaboration with Film 4 and Blisters, an in-house exhibition that the company put on every year to showcase work from selected artists that use the Print Club facilities. For both of these events I was responsible for hand screen printing bags for the sale of prints, flyers and t-shirts. I also worked on the staff team for the events in which my job was to guide visitors around the show, work behind the bar and shop of both events, and be knowledgable on the prints that were being exhibited in order to answer any questions that the visitors may have.
