  • Sarah & Tom's Wedding Invitations
Sarah & Tom's Wedding InvitationsI got married in October and was ordered by my wife Sarah to design the wedding invitations and save the date cards. Having decided to go against the conventional A5/A6 format for the invitations, I decided on a DL format instead. I wanted to design two seperate cases. One to hold the more important details for the ceremony and the other to hold the rest of the information cards. The cases would be held together by two bands with our initials on. The design itself, was firstly all hand drawn then finished in Illustrator to be laser cut. Sarah has a fondness of Morrocan patterns, which the design is loosely based on. Teal, navy and blue were the theme colours of the wedding. 300gsm pearlescent card was used to make the cases and were perforated for better folding. The save the date cards are in a calender format with the wedding date ink stamped.
  • Table Numbers
Table NumbersA series of table numbers ranging from 1-35, to use at corporate events for At-Bristol Science Centre. The theme of astronomy was to celebrate the unveiling of the UK's first 3D Planetarium at the venue. Each table number is a different constellation with the name of the star system to educate people about our night skies. The font is bold and modern against the dark backdrop for contrast. Name, number and constellation are placed on a nebula backdrop I created in Photoshop. There are also a set of generic table numbers without the constellation or name.
  • Snapshot Staffing
Snapshot StaffingThis is a re-branding of a specialist staffing agency for events in London, 'Snapshot Staffing'. I originally designed the brand logo back in 2014. I was tasked by founder and director Benjamin Glean, to design a sleeker and more elegant logo. Since Ben is a professional photographer, I wanted the concept to be based on a camera film negative being twisted to form the letter 's', as well as conveying the shape and curvature of the human body. I wanted to compliment both the fashion and photography side within the logo.
