About me
Paper cutting is my style of choice often creating images based around narratives for publishing. I love how versatile the medium is and I rarely get bored of it. I enjoy experimenting with this material, seeing the different ways I can use it to make images. My background in design started with Product Design and Graphic Design, later gaining additional qualifications in Photography and Illustration, so I am quite happy to work with many different processes and find interesting ways I might be able to combine all these elements. I’m inspired by a range of subjects but my biggest inspiration is nature. Doing what I do, I think it’s easy to find yourself sitting at a desk for much of the day, so I enjoy spending some time every now and then to venture into the outdoors and get some headspace. Living in Devon, I am surrounded by plenty of beautiful spots across countryside and coastlines. It’s great to be able to get out there and explore.
