I am an experienced and hardworking digital creative with a background in graphic design, branding, and digital marketing. I have a passion for all things digital and have refined my skills as a marketer and designer through a range of roles working with a diverse variety of businesses. I am passionate about innovative and interesting marketing ideas and thrive in a fast-paced working environment.
In order to expand and diversify my creative output, I became a freelance digital creative in September 2018. I have continued to work with First Access Entertainment as a contractor on a part-time basis, now specialising is graphic design, social media, and visual branding. I continue to work with the wider company roster, including the new Sports division that includes England Football International Ryan Bertrand and England Rugby International Danny Cipriani. Outside of First Access, I have spent the last months working with wider range of projects including Radio1's MistaJam, Fickle Friends, Friend Within, and Circa Waves. I work to a wide range of digital briefs including social media management, filming and editing video features, photography, image editing, web design and hosting, merchandise design and digital marketing.
Managing projects for developing artists has allowed me to plan and execute digital marketing strategies targeted at expanding artist awareness. I am responsible for social media strategies and product management for emerging artists, and have compiled documentation on social media best practice and digital platform capabilities to assist with artist growth. Alongside these responsibilities I utilise my creative skills in the full Adobe Suite to shoot, design and edit a wide range of digital content, specialising in image editing and retouching, artwork, web design, and video editing for of wider portfolio of artists including Madison Beer, Rita Ora and Ellie Goulding. Working closely with the company’s branding department has also given me graphic design opportunities as well as the chance to create artist promotional materials including show reels.
Echo Products is a start-up company specialising in mobile tech accessories. Alongside the Marketing Manager I was responsible for the planning and implementation of Echo’s global marketing strategy. This included planning and implementing social media campaigns, as well as the creation of a range of promotional marketing materials and graphics to support the company’s rebrand, including product packaging, brochures, and graphics used across all marketing outlets. I assisted with a crowd funding campaign that raised over $150,000, and assessment and moderation of the new Echo Products website.
The ONS Beta team redesigned the National Statistics website by tailoring open source software to create a bespoke publishing application for national data. My responsibilities in this role included proofreading and quality assurance of content against an agreed style guide, short copy content creation, and statistical content management and migration. Using Microsoft Office was integral to this role that also allowed me experience in UX and text-to-HTML conversion tools.
This role was a fixed-term position heading up the marketing department for a start-up IT software and web design company. I coordinated the branding of a line of web-based products which included e-commerce solutions and web design packages, while also creating accompanying brochures, ad materials, and digital content for the company website and social media pages. During this time I developed skills in HTML through use of a number of bespoke content management systems, as well as working with a versatile range of local businesses to develop company brands, digital content, and SEO.
This editorial role gave me responsibility and experience in the management of approx. 70 writers reviewing new music, and I developed a proficiency for proofreading and editing. Reporting to the Managing Editor, it was my responsibility to work to tight deadlines in collating, creating, and uploading music reviews to the website via their Joomla CMS.
