About me

I am an enthusiastic, driven individual with excellent time management and organisational skills. I have always had a real interest in the arts, especially music. For the last year and a half I've been working as a Creative Manager for audioBoom, an online spoken-word platform. Before this I worked at various different record labels including Ninja Tune, The Bunker and Mute. During these years I believe I have learnt a number of key skills including artwork production, artist and talent management, A&R, graphic design, digital marketing, events and photo shoot production and general administrative skills.

  • audioBoom is the world’s leading spoken-word audio platform and hosts, distributes and monetises on-demand audio for leading radio groups, broadcasters, content creators and podcasters. audioBoom is listed on AIM in the UK. Responsible for: • The global creative direction of all in-house marketing initiatives, overseeing design and branding within the marketing teams in the UK, USA and Australia. • All creative production and messaging for key content partners, including Russell Brand, Pixie Lott and Entertainment News. • All audioBoom produced photoshoots (organising to budget, overseeing, managing creative direction) • Creatives for all digital marketing campaigns (social, SEM, mobile, email) • Creatives for OOH (tube, bus, billboard and radio) • Partnership with design agencies and PR agencies • All events (in Oct 2014 I oversaw our relaunch event for 200 of London’s key investors, which involved managing a budget, liaising with event organisers, caterers, entertainment, venues, etc). The event enabled audioBoom to secure a round of funding at £8m) • The look and feel of the SaaS site - instrumental in achieving marketing KPIs. • Mentoring the Marketing Assistant in creative direction and brand guidelines.

  • Role was a split responsibility, Head of Marketing included writing marketing strategies, organising live events and writing press releases for local press and radio stations. Events role, I acted as a booking agent, organising, promoting and marketing numerous ? events for The Bunker including the launch of one of their key releases. I ensured that events were delivered accurately and matched with marketing strategies and timelines. All events were insulated with local radio stations to arrange interviews and live sessions for the artists, as well as booking the venue for the gig. Also responsible for social media and online presence of label including updating their online networks, editing the e newsletter, initiating competitions and ensuring all information was up to date. ?
