After two years at Polydor as Digital Campaign Manager, I stepped up to Senior level in late 2016. Working within the Marketing team at frontline Universal label Polydor Records, to manage digital strategy on artist marketing campaigns and execute all digital campaign elements, from commissioning and overseeing development of artist websites & apps, to coordinating online advertising activity, managing streaming & playlist initiatives, introducing creative ideas to communicate the tone & identity of the artist, working closely with artist & management to set benchmarks and optimise digital & social presences, and programming regular eCRM engagement. Line managing a Junior Digital Marketing Manager and developing digital interns and work experience individuals. Combining this with an auxiliary role as a Product Manager, leading on all elements of artist campaigns including commissioning artwork, booking TV & outdoor spend, and running the project as a whole. Running digital campaigns for artists such as The 1975, HAIM, Maroon 5, elbow and Guy Garvey, The Rolling Stones, Kendrick Lamar, Frank Turner, Dr. Dre, Tove Lo, and more.
Managing the digital content and repertoire presented by [PIAS] on YouTube, SoundCloud, VEVO, social media, artist websites, and other online channels. Working closely with the group's international sub-divisions, record labels, recording artists and repertoire owners to increase revenue & promotional opportunities and viewing & subscription figures of various online channels, encourage traffic-driving initiatives, develop and produce new content ideas, and coordinate cross-promotion opportunities. Executing digital marketing campaigns across multiple platforms and running various social media presences for labels and artists alike, and sitting on the group's central Brand Committee, contributing to all initiatives surround [PIAS] branding and marketing, both B2B and B2C. Working on a broad variety of artist campaigns, including Basement Jaxx, Courteeners, Texas, Interpol, alt-J, Twin Atlantic, Moby, Pixies, Goldfrapp, Editors, Temples, and more.
Driving forward the creation and development of rich content opportunities for the agency’s clients, liaising with external production partners to facilitate creation of on-site and social content for a variety of brands, and assisting in the programming and scheduling of content and strategy across social channels.
Working on a five-month contract role alongside other members of the central Creativity & Innovation Unit to produce editorial and digital content for Zodiak Media Group's web pages, researching stories and managing photo and video archives, and collating and sub-editing content in four different languages for digital publication from numerous other editorial contributors from across the company's 45 locations worldwide.
