About me


The work bit: I am an experienced Senior Account Manager who has worked successfully across multi-million pound commercial, charity and healthcare accounts. During my time in advertising, I have developed excellent communication, organisation and management skills. I work calmly under pressure, and enjoy collaborating in a team. I also have developed a strong understanding of design as my girlfriend is a designer and this has really helped me to be able to scope projects more accurately. Now I am looking to take the next step in my career. The more about me bit: I have been living in London since I finished university back in 2007 and have enjoyed every minute of it. I spend my time outside of work enjoying what London has to offer from stand up comedy nights, to quirky restaurants and bars where everyone looks infinitely cooler than I do. I have a keen interest in music and although I am getting to that age where music festivals are starting to be more trouble than their worth, I still enjoy the atmosphere, the crowds and most importantly the music with my friends. I am also a keen sports person and am desperate to get back to playing football and average golf after a serious knee injury representing my current agency at a rugby 7's event.

  • At this award-winning advertising agency, I worked across FMCG, educational, financial services and healthcare clients. I won pitches and built strong relationships with both clients and colleagues. Achievements ? Successfully managed the global rollout of a new Dulux digital strategy to 15 markets whilst overseeing 1 direct report ? Part of the core team on the brand refresh for Hastings Direct across multiple channels both ATL and BTL ? Account lead on the winning pitch for the Open University worth over £1million to the group ? Client lead on the development of the 1st CRM programme for Open University Global ? Managed the creation and deployment of global Tena brand sales materials to 15 local markets ?   • At this leading healthcare advertising agency, I worked with both UK and global clients to promote their brands and services at international and local levels. I had the opportunity to work on big accounts as well as collaborate with other Omnicom agencies to win multi-million pound pitches. Achievements ? Selected as the digital lead for the London office and sent to HQ in New York for specialised training ? Coordinated and supervised CDM’s first major digital project which integrated with traditional media for a patient support programme called Mouths Made Good ? Project managed the development of multiple iPad apps for sales reps across the EU ? Led the successful deployment of multiple email campaigns to physicians which helped re-launch Onbrez and exceeded client expectations by surpassing benchmark open rates and generating over 30 sales rep meeting requests in the first 2 months ? Helped to manage the global implementation of a new strategy for Rebif which included organising the launch event at the HQ in Geneva for over 300 attendees ?   • This was my first role after university and I was brought in to support the 3 partners of the company across multiple accounts. At this marketing agency I learnt key skills while working across B2B, financial services and technology clients. Achievements ? Secured excellent media coverage for Kidney Research UK’s national pilot screening programme including BBC online and page 3 of the Telegraph ? Set up the agency’s first Google Adwords campaign, and produced weekly reports for senior management to measure its effectiveness ? Organised and ran design focus groups for a publishing client. The groups led to the client updating multiple book covers ? Delivered successful email marketing campaigns for Kidney Research UK Responsibilities ? Day-to-day client liaison on 5 accounts ?   • I completed the 4 year business studies course with 2.1 BA hons. The course covered a variety of modules including globalisation, operations management, marketing, financial management and retail studies to name a few. The 3rd year of the course required us to complete a year in industry which I did at a small technology start up called Mobestar where I worked as a marketing executive and reported into the marketing director.
