- Exquisite Still LifeExquisite Still Life has developed into an open-ended illustration project with an aim to utilise the concepts of established disciplines whilst dealing in contemporary material. ESL was born of a one-off illustration commission with which the artist has complete freedom, apart from a few dimension within which to work. The brief of that first commission, entitled 'Exquisite Still Life Nọ1', was to draw "anything you like". Thus followed a visual journey into the holistic and symbolic aspects of the artist's character and of those who have contributed to the project with their own individuality and experience. 'Exquisite Still Life Nọ1' is due to feature in upcoming Penguin Random House release 'The Beautiful Book of Exquisite Corpses' ed. Gavin Edwards.
