I’m a Graphic Designer and Illustrator; former graduate of Kingston University BA (Hons) Illustration & Animation.
I love design. I have gained invaluable experience working for in-house Marketing and Design teams and with freelance clients. I’m now looking for unique opportunities to utilise and hone my creative skills, as an effective Designer and problem solver, by working with professionals within the design and advertising community.
Most importantly, I’m chomping at the bit to learn more.
Projects
- Bikecation case studyBikecation came to me with a very straightforward brief. They needed some case study documents created to testify to the quality of their corporate cycling tour products. Working together to assess examples from other tour operators we settled on this format, featuring tour photography and customer testimonials. The example shown is one from a set of three documents, also including the Tour de France and Corsica.
- Lloyd + Robertson brandingLloyd & Robertson was to be a consultancy partnership of two female digital marketing specialists. At their request I designed a logo and an early identity proposition for their new business. Alas, this venture didn't end up taking off, though I'm still fond of this initial work that I produced for it .
- Prepare for success campaignThese are my designs for the Equity #prepareforsuccess advertising campaign running in issues of School Sports magazine. Ads placed in previous years had been a little unfocused, a result of trying to get too much information into the space available. So the brief for this campaign was to create something more impactful and direct, with a focus on the experience and the skills of determination, resilience and perseverance that active sports can teach to young people.

Graphic Designer & Print Manager
I am the lead designer in all direct marketing campaigns, responsible for producing brand assets, brochureware, a unified brand proposition and for presenting new developments to key stakeholders. I played a lead role in a major rebrand process, consolidating nine B2C brands into one shortly after taking this position; this was delivered in just 10 weeks.

We Think Differently Award
After 9 months as Equity Graphic Designer and Print Manager I was thrilled to be awarded with a company value award at the Equity summer conference. The 'We Think Differently' Award refers to the Inspiring Learning value best represented by original thinking (Inspiring Learning is Equity's parent company).
It was wonderful to have the hard work I had put into the Equity rebrand process and the new Equity ski brochure being recognised in this way!
But I was particularly pleased because whilst I have enjoyed the challenge of marketing roles, design is where my true passion lies and for that to be seen was a fantastic compliment.
