Education
    Bachelor of Law
     - Sheffield, United Kingdom
I have recently completed my degree in law where I learned an array of different things. Learning law has allowed me to view certain aspects of society in completely different way. Learning about various legal concepts has also heightened other skills that are not directly applicable to law, such as basic communications skills, presentation skills and literary skills. Participating in modules such as street law enabled me to conduct pro-Bono work for the community. This involved teaching children of different ethnic backgrounds about aspects of crime (cannabis and joint enterprise) which they may one be involved in. I also take pride in the fact that I, along with my team, were winners of the Irwin Mitchell Branding Competition. The goal was to create a personal injury law firm that represented clients in the north of England. We were given the task of creating a mission statement, logo, and description of our firm, acknowledging who we were and what our company culture was. As well as being a member of my university's law society, I gained a basic westlaw certification which recognises my ability to use the westlaw legal database.
