  • • Provide direct support to the Director and Board of Trustees. Arrange and service general and Board meetings. • Manage aspects of a move to new premises and subsequent set up of office systems/procedures and third party contracts. • Ensure the building is fit and safe for office staff and public use and organise required maintenance, or flag issues to the Landlord. Carry out fire risk assessment and act as fire steward. Employ and monitor cleaner/supplier contracts. • Purchase all office supplies and maintain IT systems. • Finance support/HR – organise payment of invoices, chase debts, bank deposits, reconcile accounts, update and process payroll. • Support office staff, front of house and manage shared diary and public enquiries.

  • Artist development - evaluating the Global Local scheme (a publicly funded project which promotes up and coming artists by creating opportunities for them on the festival circuit and helps local and national festivals meet their cultural targets) and the development and delivery of an artists’ professional development day. This is an annual event which I have been involved in since it's inception, which has continued to grow and evolve each year. It is now a highly anticipated event which I am proud to be a part of. Project evaluation – design and develop online surveys to gather feedback for evaluation reports.

  • Assessed applications for funding to support music projects. Completed over 100 assessments, of which 34 projects were recommended and successfully funded. Consistent good feedback from decision panel with regard to the clarity and quality of written assessments. Monitored funded projects and released payments. Attended funded events and produced show reports. Provided pre-application advice at events, local funding fairs and international trade fairs (e.g. Womex) as well as responding to general enquiries by phone or email.
