Trini-Maria Katakwe (TMK) is a British Nigerian-Zambian Scenographer and Visual Artist from North London. Graduated from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama with a Distinction in MA Scenography, gaining valuable insight into the fundamentals of designing for opera, theatre and devised performances.
The work she creates is based on her identity, culture, faith and spirituality. Art and Design have been a focal point in the development of her academic and professional experience. The expansion of her creativity has been explored through scenography (set & production design), architecture, fine art, graphic design, illustration, and photography.
TMK was apart of the ‘Originals Creator Network’ a partnership between Adidas London and GUAP Magazine. The 12-month program features 20 emerging creatives from London that will participate in creative workshops, mentoring and receive commissions to work on live Originals projects.
