Working at the brand’s flagship store has required me to work closely and productively within a tight-knit team, develop substantial product knowledge and meet ambitious sales targets which I have consistently exceeded through a practised and refined level of customer service and problem solving.
I was trusted with the planning, visual merchandising and grand opening of both flagship stores in Central London. Building a loyal clientele and acting as ambassador at the conception of the brand was one of the main challenges, alongside quickly learning new softwares and being expected to act not just as a salesperson for luxury goods and necessities but also as a mechanic and administrator on any given shift.
My main role at Evans Cycles was to guide customers and create a relationship using extensive product knowledge through the process of buying their new bicycle and accessories, whether it be top end or budget; but often I was asked to take on extra roles such as administration, visual merchandising and cover the mechanic when needed.
