I like to describe myself as a facilitator of creativity, pulling together all the elements required for a creative output.
I pride myself on my interpersonal and written communication skills, being a creative thinker, and my consistent drive and determination. I have successfully developed various interdisciplinary skills from research, stakeholder procurement and management, budgeting and scheduling. I am innovative, creative and ready to learn and adapt.
I was recently nominated as an Inspirational Woman of Media by the Mayor’s Office and featured as part of a photographic exhibition there.
I was also nominated by The Dots as one of their 100 Social Leaders with Heart for my work towards social justice & equality.
Projects
- The Only Way is EthicsFor a heritage and arts lottery funded project, I volunteered on the production of an event as a part of a group called The Only Way Is Ethics. This event addressed the immigration crisis at the height of its relevance through debate, spoken word and a talk from BBC journalist Hashi Mohamed. The topic of immigration is one I feel strongly about and I loved that I was able to be a part of an event that was able to ignite conversation amongst my peers on this subject.
