About me
I am an ambitious and technically driven individual with proven experience in music production and audio engineering. I have worked over 500 hours in recording studios with various consoles and I have achieved a First in a BA (Hons) degree in music production, where I developed fundamental skills in recording, mixing and hardware integration. I have also spent an enjoyable time being a part-time sales assistant at John Lewis in the audio & TV department, which has given me experience in a fast-paced environment.
I am extremely personable and an effective communicator and can work with people on all levels. I currently hold a Broadcast Assistant role at Reprezent Radio, which has allowed me to demonstrate my ability for seamless edits, flexibility between DAWs and efficient time management for planning shows.
Work history
Broadcast Assistant
• I edit audio using Adobe Audition and Logic Pro. This involves me cleaning audio tracks for radio play and cutting interviews for pre-recorded broadcasts or podcasts.
• I operate the live desk within the studio, making sure microphone levels and music levels are always correct, as well as cueing pre-recorded audio clips and adverts.
• I undertake general research for upcoming shows, guests and always offer prompt and efficient responses if the presenter needs additional information.
• I arrange and organise guest visits to the show, making sure they can find the studio and that all their requirements are met.
• I also speak live on air, to assist the presenter and join discussions with the presenter to create a social dynamic to the show.
Sales Assistant
• I deliver the high levels of customer service expected from John Lewis within the Audio & TV department.
• I am constantly surrounded by technology, breaking technical terms in to everyday language.
• I assist on maintaining the high visual standards around the department at all times, making sure till points are organised and product fixtures are tidy.
• I take care of ticketing procedures, making sure products are correctly place and labelled.
• I process transactions and offer additional insurance packages using the till system as well as offering store credit cards.

A course comprising of contemporary music production techniques. Throughout the studies, experience were gained in acoustics, recording techniques, composition skills, media presence and music business, digital production and mastering for the various formats.
Valuable experience was gained while using recording studios and experimenting with various techniques and gear.
Studying here has given me the technical abilities to execute recording, mixing, editing and production tasks efficiently as well as allowing me to develop as a collaborator.
