UX.LIVE is brought to you by The UX Crunch, Europe's leading monthly UX networking event. The UX Crunch are renowned for their monthly meet-ups, conferences and workshops across the UK and Europe, and have brought together over 5000 UX and Design professionals in the last year alone. Through partnering up with brands like the BBC, Moo.com, Net-A-Porter, Zoopla & Sainsbury's, The UX Crunch are able to offer great talks and shared learning sessions, which provide insight into brand's processes and design experiences. See what's on at www.thedigitalshowcase.co.uk). Come along and network with your peers over drinks and pizza and meet the most influential players in the market! Now, welcome to UX Live, the launch of something new! www.ux-live.co.uk We understand that selecting the right conference is tough (not to mention expensive), and there are several to choose from, so why UX Live? We have built UX.LIVE on the foundation of more than 70 UX events. A unique two-day conference, held in the very centre of London (and with excellent transport links), this is a conference designed for the Mid-Senior market. As with your traditional conference, UX.LIVE are offering an awesome selection of speakers and a range of intimate workshops to get your hands dirty. We have confirmed speakers from Facebook, Uber, Sony, BBC, Lloyds, Tesco and Babble (for the full list, click here), armed with their experiences working on the forefront of design and technology, so we hope you walk away from our talks feeling enriched. That said, from our experience running events, we feel that a conference can offer a whole lot more! On October 26th & 27th, we will have some of the most influential thought leaders all in one room, so whilst we hope you will find time to chat with our speakers during the day, we’re going further to ensure you get that chance. In the heart of our networking space, we are introducing the LIVE stage, which will bring together groups of our speakers and workshop facilitators from across the course of the day in a number of panel discussions. The LIVE stage will be a platform to go deeper into the themes highlighted in the day’s talks, explore the synergies across brands and sectors and the broader issues affecting the direction of YOUR industry. This shared learning experience will be invaluable - a chance to pick the brains of designers at the top of their field! So get involved, and pick up some fresh ideas to disseminate within your own team. What else? If you’ve read this far, you will know by now that we’re doing things slightly differently at UX.LIVE, and this doesn’t stop with the content! Not everyone is a social butterfly, and when it comes to meeting new people and making new connections, networking can be quite daunting… so we are going to help! At UX.LIVE, we’ll be opening each day with a fun (and gentle) ice-breaker, which will run throughout the day. Trust us, you will WANT to speak to as many people as possible before the day is up. Breakfast and lunch are included, but as we know conferences can be quite tiring, located next to the live stage and within earshot of the discussions, we’ve created the Chillout Zone. Stocked with all the teas, coffees and soft drinks you could need to get back on your feet, we will have beanbags galore, as well as trained masseuses (that’s right, TRAINED MASSEUSES) to get those conference knots out and keep you fresh. Lastly, we wouldn’t be true to our ‘UX Crunch roots’, if we didn’t ply our delegates with alcohol (hehe). Beers and wines are available during the day, but central to the after-conference networking, will be a cocktail party for all guests. Served by professional mixologists, the last two hours of the day will be an opportunity to share a drink (and your experiences of the day) with your peers. This will be the UX conference of 2017, so don't miss out! Check out our UX.LIVE webpage to see the full event schedule
