About me
My name is Valentina Moyano. I am a 24-year-old student living in Milan, Italy. I was born in Valparaiso, Chile. I attended a bilingual school in my hometown for 8 years so I speak English quite fluently and of course Spanish, my mother tongue. I graduated from Università degli Studi di Pavia in communications studies & marketing. I also spent a semester in Puebla,
I always try to conceptualize my ideas and hopefully put them together on various projects regarding some of my passions: visual communication, writing, beauty, fashion and underground cultures.
I hope to further my career in the world of art and creativity. I look forward to creating inspiring content pertaining to style, art, culture and social issues. My dream is to produce unique and attractive contents to encourage young people to adopt an inclusive and respectful attitude toward women and men. I have high hopes for my generation and the ones to come. Good content on the internet can help avoiding gender, class and racial discrimination.
The things that I am interested in are heavily influenced by street culture and social diversity. Due to this, I have adopted a bottom-up approach that shows through the topics I write about, videos I make or garments that I choose . In fashion I have developed a passion for sportswear, genderless clothing pieces, as well as the aspects of minimalism and simplicity, which are leitmotivs in everything I create. Simplicity makes great communication.
Growing up in a very small town in Chile and then living in Italy, I have always been fascinated by European culture and art. Milan is a multiethnic city and I attempt to highlight this on my works, always sticking to the bottom-up approach previously mentioned. I want my creations to be a genuine reflection of my sensibilities and the small realities I am drawn to. I want people to see beauty in any situation, person and detail of everyday life.

I worked on a blog project (www.be-sparkling.com) as a blog assistant. My main responsibilities were to do research for future blog posts, to contact brands/blogs to collaborate with, to generate ideas and give suggestions to the owner of the blog . I had the opportunity to obtain basic online marketing knowledge and blog management.
