I have always been fascinated by cultures, connections, and communities. By embracing them I’ve been able to see opportunities that others do not by bringing together unique and diverse ideas, perspectives, and people to push the status-quo, evolve a dialogue, or build a community. Thus, over my career– which has traversed from a F500 Entertainment company to a F50 Tech company, I constantly look for ways to leverage my strengths and passions to create meaningful change with each organisation I work with. Over time I have been able to craft emotional experiences between iconic brands and their customers as well as help support and guide an organisation that was going through a massive cultural transformation. Below are some key accomplishments that support my passion for cultures, connections and communities: • Spearheaded remotely the new Creative Cloud Enterprise marketing program in EMEA. It allowed me to engage with 20+ key customers to craft a meaningful creative experience for each of them. I also initiated and maintained relationships within regional organisations and with leadership. And, I continuously developed and nurtured relationships with key corporate partners e.g. BBC, VICE , Omnicom, TfL and WPP. • Established the first external speaker series at Mattel (while maintaining a full creative production schedule) to address the lack of inspiration for the creative community. I scaled it from a quarterly event to an influential bi-weekly series bringing in global thought leaders to speak as well as gaining the support of the C-suite. • Created the first role at Mattel, sanctioned by the COO, that supported a community of 400+ creatives during the company’s digital and cultural transformation. I strategically developed speaker events, team training and a monthly podcast to provide the creative community positive opportunities to feel inspired and empowered.
• Key founding team member who catalysed the launch of the current enterprise marketing events series– Creative Jams, in North America and EMEA. • Helped hire, onboard, and train new team members. Grew team from 3 to 7 members. • Initiated and nurtured relationships with over 30 customers and key leadership in North America and EMEA both internally and externally. • Established EMEA program and solely grew pipeline at pace over three quarters to engage over 20 key cross-vertical customers and meet key program KPIs. Clients worked with: BBC, VICE, SkyTV, TfL, Pentland, WPP, Omnicom, Pentland, Unilever. • Strategically customised events for each customer to meet their technology and orgnisational needs and meeting business objectives by leading the complete event production management cycle, • Initiated and nurtured relationships with key EMEA and global stakeholders inside and outside the program.
Curated and executed the inaugural creative HR role– sanctioned by the COO, and evolved it into the creative community hub. The role infused a creative, human-centered design approach into a traditionally corporate department by developing educational and experiential opportunities for the creative community of 400+ creatives at Mattel HQ during a cultural and digital transformation. Produced educational and inspirational experiences such as external and internal speaker series, workshops with cross-vertical partners, and a bi-weekly podcast. Here’s a short write up. • Demonstrated keen attention to detail in Learning & Development, evolving creative career planning, content creation, and program co-ordination. • Systematised planning and implementation of an innovative marketing plan to drive incremental participation and community engagement. • Co-led curation of Mattel’s inaugural executive-sponsored global innovation and creative conference (CreativeCon), strategised logistics of attendance, as well as curated influential thought leaders for keynotes that supported the corporation’s values and purpose.
Developed innovative design solutions, as well as managed external agencies and expedited production cycles. • Promoted from Designer to Art Director by displaying steadfast dedication to develop disruptive brand design on tight deadlines and budgets. • Fostered a collaborative and creative environment, motivated cross-functional teams to amplify projects traversing across packaging, web, photography, in-aisle presence, TVC, etc. for multimillion-dollar brands such as Disney, Pixar, Barbie, and BoomCo. • Collaborated and provided creative input and strategy for the entire planning, design processes, and execution of multiple global rebrands.
