About me

Born in Bogota, Colombia. Based in Milan after thickening her skin in New York for more than 5 years. Her obsession is the interstice between art and fashion in its most formal and conceptual way. She holds an MFA in Fashion & textile design. Detail capturing and material deconstruction is key to this artist that believes in horizontal languages producing fabrics, accessories, garments, photographies, installations and drawings.

• Frugalis This hat collection celebrates color and its roots in various cultures. Embraces time honored artisanal techniques with urban sensibility. Combines contrasting elements inspired on tradition and pop culture.
• TuriThis research project focuses on the Guambiano indigenous culture in Colombia and combines ethnography, art and design. Moved by the political situation in my country after fifty years of war, I went to Silvia, in the department of Cauca, where most of the Guambiano people live, which was greatly affected by the war. Based on previous projects I developed a garment that is a statement as well as the beginning of a new future business model.
