About me
I have flair, finesse and focus being a results-driven and creative individual. A drama graduate awarded upper second class honours, I have a broad range of experience including teaching at secondary school level, performing in my academic and non-academic careers, managing and leading workshops, which highlight my skills in innovation, communication, team-player ability and leadership. With my combined seven years experience working in retail I am able to work well under pressure independently and collaboratively and understand the importance of giving excellent customer service which in turn helped me become confident in my current secretary role. I am now ready to take on a new challenge in combining both my skills and passion to create a career in which I do what I love.

Moved from a smaller store (Enfield) to a flagship store (from May 2013); recognized that the store demanded a higher workload and required an increased fast paced approach to tasks. Have a detailed knowledge of all departments in terms of selling, type of customer, past and current fashion trends each department embodies and being aware of price variety. Independently successfully manage and maintain my own department; Underwear by processing delivery, garment care and visual merchandising following department books. Engaging with the shop information and making sure the correct products are being highlighted, daily replenishment of products and any other offers being communicated clearly. Communicating with management so they are aware of overstock, sell-outs, popular items to communicate this with the merchandising team. Analysing weekly figures comparable with the shop floor to seek opportunities to increase selling. My constant presence in Underwear contributed to an increase of selling by 30%. Have recently moved to Basics department in which understanding the customers' needs are imperative to selling which is directly linked to external variables such as weather, and replacements of everyday wear so highlighting these maximise selling. Developed ability to adapt to new situations quickly within a diverse team environment as well as when communicating with the public, multi-tasking and delivering first class customer service.
