About me
Cultural enthusiast, ardent arts admirer, fashion fanatic History graduate. I am passionate about art and culture. I love how good art presents you with a wonderful paradox, leaving you to ponder ‘how in the world could this have been made? How in the world could it not have been?’ Art is wonderful in its ability to challenge, teach and redefine. I wholly want to work within the arts world. My passion for art was first exposed when I began my History Dissertation, ‘The Oriental Woman within the Occidental Imagination.’ In this study I delighted in researching and dissecting poetry, art, literature and theatrical performances such as David Henry Hwang’s ‘M. Butterfly.’ Since completing my studies I have done everything possible to expose myself to London’s vibrating culture. I frequently attend exhibitions such as Jon Rafman at the Zabludowicz Collection and ‘Champaign Life’ at the Saatchi Gallery. I am entranced by performances such as ‘Conceal/Reveal’ at Saddlers Wells and ‘Lysistrata: The Sex Strike’ at the Almeida theatre. I have work experience in a number of industries including: Social Media, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, Events Management, Waitressing and Bar Management.
Work history
    PR & Communications
ARTROOMS is the largest Art Fair in the UK. It showcases the work of over eighty awe-inspiring artists from all over the world. Her 2016 edition was a cultural construct of every type of art imaginable. My function within the ARTROOMS team was primarily PR & Communications. I was placed in charge of arranging all the Press Conferences, conferring with the Press and writing all the Press Releases. Beyond those responsibilities I compiled spreadsheets, posted to their social media, gathered information, conferred with artists and was actively involved in setting up the fair. ARTROOMS 2016 has been a remarkable journey. It has enhanced my old skills and endowed me with new skills. My inter-personal skills have been elevated.
    Cultural Contributor
I am currently a Cultural Contributor for the online arts platform, ArtVersed. ArtVersed seeks to celebrate contemporary culture, from theatrical performance, to music, to individual artists. I write original, interesting articles. This role requires a tremendous amount of self-motivation, time-management and passion. It has successfully transformed me into a cultural enthusiast.

I am a recent history graduate from Newcastle University. I graduated with the award of a 2:1. A History degree endows its students with strong IT, teamwork, attention to detail, proofreading, research, organisation, administration, presentation and problem solving skills. To be successful you must be a self-motivated individual who has time management skills. I specialised in Orientalism, Feminism and Culture. My extended project, for which I was awarded First Class Honours, was titled 'The Oriental Woman within the Occidental Imagination.'
