I work for the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service), teaching German language and culture at university and providing information about research and studying in Germany and available scholarships, e.g. at the annual Higher Options Fair in Dublin. For most of the modules I teach I am module coordinator, which means I create and manage the content, develop the assessment and organize the courses. As DAAD lecturer I am in close contact with the Goethe Institute (the leading German institute for culture and language with branches all over the world) and the German Embassy in Ireland.
I received my Magistra (M.A) in English Philology and Education. My M.A. thesis had a literary focus and was titled "How Traditional Are Contemporary Gothic Texts?"
